Emily Fox writes dark and epic fantasy. She was introduced to the fantasy genre through generous helpings of Tamora Pierce, Ian Irvine, and a smorgasbord of female fantasy authors. While fantasy is her first love, she also dabbles in science fiction and poetry.

Emily works in a university library and is a former submissions reader for Aurealis Magazine. She holds a Master of Arts (Writing, Editing, and Publishing) and a Master of Information Studies (Librarianship).

She lives in Queensland, Australia with her dog, Handsome Bob.
